PhotoKhichuwa – as Strange as the name itself, is a bohemian Photo photographer in the Nepali Photography scene, but that eccentric contrast shows in his work, unapologetically.
On the contrary to most photographers, he prefers not to travel much, restricted mostly within the valley, partly because of the realization that he already is surrounded by so much to shoot. In the world where almost everyone creates either for fame or money, he opts to hide away from the limelight n commercial work, finding comfort in not facing the world, and quietly embracing anonymity. But what stands him apart is his work, just one sight of which and people can tell that the photograph was shot by him, his weapon, “THE WIDE PERSPECTIVE”.
Very Few photographers use Wide angles, Panoramas visual weight placement, and perspective to the extent he does, capturing the everyday normalities of the Kathmandu valley, its culture, traditions, and vibrant flare in unprecedented angles and strange perspectives. His shots at first glance appear chaotic, yet they pull the attention and always let the viewer finds a place to rest their eyes within the frame.
